Hi All!
Theta Zeta just got the final info on sectionals, and I thought I would
pass it along since it does not appear that anyone from Delta Sigma(host
chapter) is on APO-L.
DATES:November 5th, 6th, 7th(THIS weekend)
COST:$30 per person($34 with advance t-shirt order--may be too late for this)
Includes:housing for both nights, all workshops, 3 meals on Sat(including
the semiformal banquet Saturday night,) 1 meal Sunday, and an "Alpha Phi
Omega paper clip holder"
-Hayride and ice skating Friday night($1.50 if you need to rent skates)
CHECK IN:4:30-6pm Friday night in Student Union room 303A(letters on the door)
-please do not unload cars until after check in
PARTY WITH A PURPOSE:Activity Saturday night--please bring a non perishable
canned/boxed food as your admission--the chapter which brings the most
will win a prize
SCHEDULE:Sat:breakfast, organizational meeting, workshops, free time,
business meeting, semi-formal banqet(do not forget to prepare a chapter
role call,) and party
Sun:breakfast and goodbyes :(
REMEMBER:each chapter must elect 2 voting delegates, sleeping bags and pillows
if you stay in the provided accomadations, each chapter in New England must
pre-register 2 members for the LDW on Saturday, and 2 alternates(who will
be taken on a space available basis if they want to participate,) t-shirts
will be $7 on site, theme is "Where The Wild Things Are" and will be
reflected on the t-shirt
WORKSHOPS:date rape, AIDS/HIV awareness, recruitment and retention, chapter
metamorphasis(by mrn,) self defense(for women only, wear sweats or appropriate
clothing,) service project improvement, fitness and you(limited #, call
to pre-register,) ballroom dancing, and for pledges only(no Bros allowed)

Rough Directions:exit 68 off of I-84/Wilbur Cross Hwy.(there is a sign for the
University of Connecticut) Travel east on 195 straight thru intersection with
rte.32, at Mansfield Four Corners(intersection of rtes. 195 and 44) proceed
straight ahead approximately 1.5 miles to the Storrs Campus
