        One of the more famous Turtle stories involves one of the Apollo
missions.  As previously mentioned, many test pilots and other military
personel were members of the Order.  During one of the flights (I think it
might have been either Apollo 8 or 14), the CAPCOM in Houston asked the
one of the astronauts if he was a turtle.  Not wanting to suffer the
consequences of not answering correctly, the astronaut issued the standard
response.  However, the channel was open to the public. As a result, his
phrase was bleeped out and instead ground control interrupted with "Uh..his
answer was in the affirmative."
        Just thought you'd like to know.
