This is what Jerry said at the Region 5 conference at his "town meeting." At
least, this is how I remember what he said. Any mistakes are mine.

The BSA earlier this year initiated talks with APO on an executive level
regarding our organizations relationship. They did this out of concern for
public perception of their policies and our policies being confused.

Throughout this year, Jerry and the Executive Officer of BSA have been holding
regular talks on this subject, and have come to certain executive agreements.

As near as I can remember, the points include these, and proposals will be
introduced at the 1994 National Convention to amend the bylaws to reflect these
changes.

* Each organization is seperate and distinct, and shall have the absolute right
to determine its own membership policies.

* In recognition of the close relationship APO and BSA have enjoyed, the
representatives of BSA who currently sit on our board will continue to do so.

* No other official ties will exist, and each organization shall have no
influence in determining the others policies.

Jerry also included this one at the meeting, so I feel safe in posting the
general outline here. However, let us NOT debate this one over the list.

* Certain proposals will be introduced to amend the rituals to reflect this
new relationship. Additionally, Fraternity documents, manuals, promotional
materials, and the like will be revised to reflect this new relationship.

Like I said, this is what I remember Jerry having said at the Conference. If
I am wrong, please correct me over the list, so we all may benefit.

In L, F, S (pop quiz: what do these stand for, really?)
