I would like to introduce myself. I am Patti Ophaug. I am part of a group
at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville who are working to recharter the
Iota Alpha chapter of APO. I am the corresponding(sp?) secretary for our
group for the mean time. I am a senior who is graduating in Dec. Our group
has about 15-20 poeple who started the process last spring, we just offered
invitations to about 20 more people who are going to be our next
pleadge(sp?) class. We would like to be recognized by national by Dec. I
am not sure we are going to make it. Our advisors are Joe Gonzales for the
Appalachian State APO, and Dr. Louis Gross, and I do not know where he was
involved in APO as a student.
I am, as I said earlier a senior. I am recieving my BA in Theatre, with a
minor in Elem. Ed. I am actually from Denver, but I love Tennessee. My
sister Cynthy got me into APO when she let me tag along to a couple of
Profs Nights Out the the group at the University of Colorado was doing.
I will go now, In Leadership Friendship and Service...
