ITINERARY
8am - Awards Committee meeting chaired by Michelle Yip
9am - Small Chapter Workshop(Debbie Sloane, Region staff)
12 noon - Lunch (Subway sandwiches, chips and soda)
1pm - Business meeting (Awards presentation, elections, a
word from our fall pledge class namesake - Earle
Herbert, bids for the next conference)
3pm - Choice of workshops:
1. Success in college
(Psychologist - Michelle Galman)
2. Communication within chapters
(Michelle Yip is on Section staff)
4pm - Break time
4:30pm - Choice of workshops:
1. Leadership/Motivation - Lisa Covi
2. Fundraising - Chris Gilbert
(Lisa and Chris are on Section I staff)
5:30pm - Break
6:30pm - Dinner (formal banquet serving fettucine, choice of
alfredo or marinara sauce)
9pm - Party at Betsy's house (Alpha Kappa fellowship VP)
Sunday am - Service project
For those of you in need of overnight accommodations please
contact Betsy Farrington at (213) 743-9353. Plan to bring your
own pillow and blankets/sleeping bags.
Reservations accompanied with your payment are due no later than
November 8 if you plan to attend the banquet. Walk-ins for the
Conference only are welcome (pay at the door), however, advance
reservations are recommended to ensure that enough food is
purchased to feed you lunch.
