It's rather simple, actually.  Just don't correspond with the national office.
Don't worry about the fraternity as a national entity.  Any jersey shop will
be glad to sew you as many jerseys as you'd like with the A Phi O letters on
them.  You can buy jackets, pool your money to rent space, wear all the right
colors, and call yourselves whatever you want.  And to make it "right", you
rationalize that the national organization has strayed from the paths of
righteousness, and that your group, and your group alone, can maintain the
right path.

Hey, cool.  Maybe I'll create my own "chapter" of the Democratic Party. :)
