Hello,
The rules for APO-L say that I can introduce myself so here goes...
My name is Kenneth St. John. I got my BS in Biomedical Engineering
from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1975 where I was a brother
of Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. In 1977, I got an MS
in Bioengineering from Clemson University. Until 1989, I was employed
in industry performing research relating to contraceptive development at
Abcor (now Biotek) and Orthopaedic Product Development at Hexcel Medical
(which became Osteonics Biomaterials and has since closed).
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and
an Instructor in Biomaterials (Restorative Dentistry) at the University
of Mississippi Medical Center. In my spare time, I am working on my PhD
at Mississippi State in Biomaterials (Department of Agricultural and
Biological Engineering). I am married (11 Years) and we have two adopted
children from Korea (Matthew, Age 7 and Jessica, Age 4).
I look forward to netting with y'all.
