In message (no message ID) you write:
=>Question to all the people out there on APO-L
=>
=>How do you all feel about sectional/regional/
=>national staff telling brothers what they
=>can and cannot post on APO-L?

It should be up to the brothers as a whole to make the decision of
what to post. If something is actually not something that should be
posted, then I think that the other brothers will (at least some of
them) feel that way too. At least a straw poll would be good. The
only exception as far as I am concerned, is anything that is closed,
etc, remembering that this is an open list. I would hope that other
brothers would feel the same way.

The section/region/national staff is here for the brothers in chapters
and for NO other reason. If there were no staff, chapters would not
have the same communications between chapters and would lose the
interchapter resource, but if the chapters didn't exist, the staff
could do nothing at all.

BTW, is that question in response to you being requested not to post
something? If so, than perhaps we could have an off-apo-l discussion
about it. If necessary, I will volunteer mail distribution
capabilities and possibly even a mainframe run list.
