The National Office will be sending a mailing out go the chapters on
Alcorn State.

The people at Alcorn State were NOT a legal chapter of Alpha Phi Omega.
They were claiming to be a chapter and the National Office was working with
the Alcorn State Administration to get these people to stop claiming to
be an Alpha Phi Omega chapter. (It had been declared inactive for non-payment
of AAMDs more than 4 years ago).

While a tragic incident, the people who are involved are not Brothers or
Pledges of this Fraternity. Alpha Phi Omega however does suffer from the
Bad PR that this has generated.
