Actually, this was originally to the sectional list, but it should
have been crossposted for those who do not subscribe to it.

Orig Subject: Fall service weekend 1993: Thank you to Matt Moore and Chi Gamma

I just wanted to give a public thank you to the brothers of Xb (oh,
that's right, greek letters don't work over email, try Chi Gamma) for
being wonderful hosts for the fall service weekend and a special thank
you to Matt Moore for his exceptional hospitality.

For those of you that were unable to make it, here is what we got for
the microscopic price of $6 (well, let's put it this way. The
official sectional events are usually more than that).

On friday, we got to meet the brotherhood and hang out in the evening
with special drinks prepared by the chapter (my favorite was the
wizened advisor. Non-alcoholic like the rest but it has a KICK!) and
talk to other brothers about whatever.

Saturday, we enjoyed some good service, from helping out with a race
(I heard that was pretty good), moving some stuff (lots of clothes,
but that was not all) from a very ready to be condemmed building to a
much nicer warehouse for a thrift store (I did that one. The lady
from the store was quite happy that we were able to move all the
stuff. Apparently it had been waiting for a while because of the
volume.) Then we had an evening cookout with APhiO olympics (that
cookout was included with the cost) and finally went to the big
brother revelation party.

Unfortunately we were unable to stay for the roundtable discussion on
sunday as we left around 9am because some of us had stuff going on.

Thanks againt to Chi Gamma and Matt Moore and deepest regrets to
anyone who was unable to go, it was a blast.
