        Anyone and everyone,

As I have said to other brothers I have contacted(one off the
top of my head being Ed T. Mason from Delta), I would be back on the net with
more info about TRI-SECTIONALS!!. But I think I will let another brother speak
on the subject:\

                              GET HOOKED ON SERVICE
                              TRI-SECTIONAL CONFERENCE
                              NOVEMBER 5-7 1993

Here it is Brothers-- the info you have been waiting for.

WHAT-- The first ever Tri-Sectional Conference, that's what. A Chance
for the Beta Rho, Delta Beta, and Pi chapters of Alpha Phi Omega to get together
A weekend of leadership, friendship, service, and FUN!!!!! An opportunity to
take care of Sectional business such as electing new (or re-electing old)
Sectional Chairs. The perfect time to add to your collections of Alpha Phi Omega
glassware and clothing.

WHERE-- The Conference will take place at Mt. Sequoya Assembly in
Fayetteville, AR. I have enclosed info on FAyetteville, and maps of both
Fayetteville and Arkansas. I will send more detailed mappage as the conference
draws nearer. [Editor's note- you of the net, of course, don't have the lovely
items. We can change that with let me know that you're coming.]

HOW MUCH-- We are very pleased to announce that this conference will
cost all of you LESS THAN $20. To be exact, thr conference itself (which
includes workshops, banquet, and glassware) will cost a total of $16. If you
choose to buy a T-shirt, they will cost $14. These shirts will be long-sleeved,
they are an aqua or turquiose color kind of color and will have a design based
on our theme- "Get Hooked On Service" which means fish and pirates and that kind
 of stuff.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY??-- If you are planning to attend the conference a
nd buy a T-shirt, at a total cost of $30, you intial deposit will be $15. If you
will not be purchasing a T-shirt, tour total cost will be $16, and your inital
deposit will be $10. Initial deposits ($10 or $15) are due to our office by
OCTOBER 11, 1993. The balance of your conference costs will be due into our
office on NOVEMEBR 1, 1993. Please do whatever is necessary to meet these deadli
nes, it is essential if we are to accomplish everything we need to in order to
produce a first-class conference for you.

WHERE WILL I STAY?????-- There is housing available at Mt. Sequoya, the
site of the conference. This is in the form of cabins which rent for $14 per
night for either 3 or 4 people. This is extremely reasonable if you consider tha
t each of the occupants will only have to pitch in about $4 per night. The
Brothers of Beta Rho chapter have also offered to house some conference-goers at
apartments or dorms. This is a courtesy that Delta Beta offered us for the last
Crimson Connection and we would like to return the favor. We would appreciate th
it if some of you would stay in the cabins that are for rent because by doing
so, we will be able to use all of the facilities at a greatly reduced rate.

OTHER STUFF- We have decided to have a can drive as a service project
for this conference. You are invited to participate, so start collecting those
cans. Also, since our conference falls on National Serivce Day, and since our
national program of emphasis is AIDS awareness, we will have a keynote speaker
to talk to us about this issue and will try to incorporate this issue into our
conference as we see that it is possible.

Any suggestions that you might have [Ed.-even if you aren't
coming, I can always pass them on.] for any part of the conference are very
welcome and much appreciated. Please be sure to bring any business to the
conference which needs to be addressed by your chapter and if you are not able
to get a majority of your chapter here, be sure to have voted on any major
issues ahead of time. If you have business on a regional level, bring it too--
Chris Nelms will be here for the conference.

FINAL WORDS-- So here you have it, the low-down on the shin-dig. I have
enclosed a few handy sign-up pages for various things [I'm the sign-up for the
net :)] Please look them over and try to get them returned as soon as you can. i
think that this will be very fun and successful conference for everyone
involved and I looked forward to seeing all of you in November.
