ALL ARE INVITED!!!
to the Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary cleanup project. It will be held this
Sunday, Sept. 26. We will be meeting on the campus of the University of
Maryland at 9:45am.
What will we be doing?
On the property of the Merkle sanctuary, there is a large ravine that was
used by the previous owners as a personal dumping ground for many years.
The object is to remove as many old tires, barrels, appliances, and
other foreign matter from the ravine using ropes and machinery.
It will be a lot of fun!!!!!
Refreshments will be provided, but please bring a bag lunch. Wear sturdy
shoes and anything you don't mind getting dirty.
