Epsilon Zeta does this kind of thing frequently (well, as frequently as
you can say a geeky/technical chapter does laundry) and we've discovered
that it prematurely wears the pin. After four our five washings, the paint
starts peeling, and soon after that it's _all_ gone. The gold looks nice,
but I prefer some blue on my pin as well.
Anyway, as I wrote to Laura, EZ seems to have problems with the backings that
hold the pins on: they'll hold tight through the wash, but they tend to
fall off during periods of rest (like class). We've taken to getting
replacements at a local Army/Navy store.
Oh, well, 'nuff said. See you at Nationals (and some of you sooner)!
