I was just wondering what the rationale was for having a service hour
requirement. It seems to me that if you have to coerce brothers to show
up to a particular project by instituting a requirement, that maybe the
problem lies in the project itself and not with the brotherhood. I
mean, Alpha Phi Omega *is* a volunteer organization.
Also I was wondering what the effect of a service hour requirement has
on the brotherhood. Do people moan and groan when it comes up for
discussion? How does it affect the sense of brotherhood in the chapter?
Is it widely accepted?
Just some questions.
