As I go to help do some recruiting at Rho Gamma tonight, I thought
that it might be fun to get people to post their most successful
slogans and strategies for short-term recruitment (that others might
be able to use in say, a 2-week time period). Here are some examples:
What the #$@^! is Alpha Phi Omega meeting (Kappa - Carnegie-Mellon University)
Providing refreshments during a break in placement testing
(Alpha Gamma Gamma - Hunter College)
The key to a successful recruitment drive relies on publicizing a
positive image of APO (this includes being organized) linked with a
sincere desire to meet and bring new people into the group. Also,
don't assume your non APO friends are not interested in joining -
bring them to recruitment events.
