Hi all. It's John from Alpha Gamma Alpha. Next Tuesday at our chapter
meeting, we are going to be looking at our service hour requirement.
Currently, we require each of our active members to complete 15 hours of
service per semester, 5 of which must involve campus or chapter service, 5
community or nation service, and 5 of any type within those four general
areas. I was wondering what other chapters require as far as service hours
go. Or even if your requirements are not listed in hours, (e.g. a certain
number of projects) please let me know. Or if you don't have any service
requirement at all, let me know that too. I'm looking for as many responses
as I can get. I'd be happy to post a statistical tabulation to APO-L if
people are interested (statistical as far as my humanitis background will
allow). :) So I hope to hear from one person from every chapter represented
on this list. Thanks!
