Brothers:

National Service Day is a day when all chapters are encouraged to do the
following:

1. Carry out a project in the area of the theme for Service Day. Delegates
at the 1992 Boston Convention determined that AIDS/HIV Disease Education and
Awareness should be the theme for NSD 1993. National Service Day is
Saturday, November 6, 1993.

2. Get others involved in Service. Invite other campus groups and community
organizations to participate in your project or do one of their own. NSD
should not merely be a day when APhiO chapters do a project. We should try
to spread the spirit of service!

3. Report their Service Day project to the National Office, on the form
provided in the Service Day packet, by December 1, 1993.

If you have any other questions as to the purpose or meaning of Service Day,
check the Service Day packet that your chapter should have just received or
write to me at:

Yours in Service,
Dave
