Dear Brothers,
As another school year begins across the country, it is an exciting time for
all of us. We are able to see old friends and brothers. It's a time of
reflection of past achievements and to set new goal. The goals are not only
for our personal success, but they have to include Alpha Phi Omega.
Many of us watch the destructive nature of the flood in the Midwest. Many
of our brothers lost everything. I could not imagine the sense of loss they
are experiencing everyday. As the water goes down, the news coverage is less
and less, but there is still the need for money, prayers, and support.
I have a challenge for all the chapters across the country. The challenge
is to do something for the region. If you do raise money, then I would
ask you to give it to the Salavation Army. The Red Cross during Hurricane
Andrew spent half of the money donated to the relief fund on administrative
cost. The money was give to help the people, not to be used in that way.
Good luck!!!
The Zeta Kappa chapter will have our first chapter meeting of August 25th.
Several of the brothers are ready to road trip around Region V and VI.
Could someone please tell me, when Region VI will be having their regional
conference and the location?
Good luck with your rushes! Have a great year!
