I live on the border of sections 88/89 (NY state) and
Syracuse just experienced a ton of wind, supposedly a
storm thurs night (i slept through it but then again i
could sleep through a full blown hurricane). lots of
leaves, small brush, a few minor power outages and
some rain. numerous rural schools closed because
flooding was predicted but never came (much of that
concern was near the finger lakes region) hope all
are safe and sound to the south...i am thoroughly
annoyed by people here complaining of losing power for
an hour when others lost homes, valuables, and even
lives....
