In the current issue of Down East Magazine (a lifestyle magazine about =
the State of Maine), there is a feature article on the town of Orono =
where the University of Maine is located.
On page 54 is a photo of three mud soaked Brothers (left to right Josh =
Toothaker, Heath Weatherbee, and Dan Hodgkins) who are taking part in =
the annual Oozeball service project, as part of Maine Day, which is a =
campus wide community service day. The Sigma Xi chapter on the Maine =
campus has chaired Oozeball for over 15 years (exact start date is not =
readily available), and benefits Operation Liftoff, which is a local =
wish fulfillment charity for children. Participants in Oozeball come =
from across campus, and include both students and administrators.
Regrettably, the photo is not credited to either the project, or the =
individuals, and is part of a selection of campus pictures. While Down =
East Magazine does have a website, the photo which I am referencing, as =
well as the article itself, is not available on line, but only available =
in the print version. =20
