Greetings Brothers!

As you are no doubt aware, the APO LEADS program and it's courses were rolle=
d=20
out at the New Orleans convention and have been going strong ever since. =20
This summer many of you will have a chance to participate in these courses a=
t=20
the various Leadership Institute sites around the country. I highly=20
recommend that you do so. Many wonderful people have worked long hours to=20
bring these great new programs to you. =20

And we're looking for a few more! =20

If you are interested in becoming a staff member for the LAUNCH or ACHIEVE=20
course or just improving your presentation and facilitation skills the=20
training staff will be conducting these courses at each Leadership Institute=
.=20
 We will not be training EXPLORE presenters at the LI's however. =20

=A0 We have decided to hold a content training for the EXPLORE course this=20
summer in=20
Binghamton, NY the weekend of August 8-10.=A0 We will be having it late=20
in the summer so people can attend the EXPLORE workshops at the=20
various LI's this summer before attending a content training. Details are=20
somewhat sketchy right now and=20
will depend on how many people are interested in attending the=20
training.

Note:=A0 this will be the only content training for EXPLORE offered=20
this year.=A0 The staff training at the Dallas LI will be basic skills,=20
LAUNCH and ACHIEVE.

The tentative schedule for the weekend would be as follows:
Friday night - getting to know you activity, plan the rest of the=20
weekend.
Saturday - training and practice for most of the day.=A0 evening=20
socializing
Sunday - finish training by noon to allow for travel home=20

After the training you would be an apprentice with the idea of=20
presenting and becoming a full staff member at the EXPLORES that will=20
be happening at the various Regional conferences in the fall.=A0=20

Who should attend?=A0 - it is strongly recommended that you are already=20
certified for LAUNCH and are an experienced presenter/facilitator.=A0=20
If you are not certified for LAUNCH you must have at least gone=20
through the basic skill training (presentation and facilitation=20
skills).=A0 You also must have taken the EXPLORE course.=A0=20

Please email me if you are interested in attending and/or if you have=20
any questions.=A0 A preliminary count will help us decide the details=20
(room logistics, hotel deals, number of staff to conduct the training=20
etc).

in brotherhood,
David Keely
