The WOSM symbol was probably modelled after the Scout Association symbol, as
were all Scout associations (difference- see capitalization). I saw a WOSM
poster IN THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION NATIONAL HQ IN LONDON that depicts all WOSM
member symbols. Some just use the WOSM symbol as their respective national
icons.
