It all depends on what you want to accomplish (since I do this as a side job
for the firm I own).

Excel is nice in the way of keeping records, but it is not easily expandable
to adopt new fields for entry.

(A little background - Malcolm Lee and I did some work on a membership
database - it's curently in the hands of Maggie Katz)

A database is expandable and the newer versions of access make it easy to
make. Please email me if you'd like to see some of the power of how to use a
database and make it work for you. (Goes for other brothers, too)
