Hello Brothers,
Did you know that at the end of each semester, the National Service and Communication Committee gives an award to the best website in each region? Well, spring is here and that means that it's time for the "Alpha Phi Omega Cool Site Award."
Websites will be judged during the month of April so now is the time to update to your site. The dedicated team that reviews chapter websites will make their selections based on a sixty point scale--you can view the breakdown at:
http://www.apo.org/publications/cool_sites/criteria.shtml
What are they looking for? You get points for features ranging from having the National Disclaimer on your page (you do know about the National Disclaimer, don't you?!) to providing your Rush schedule and a current calendar of chapter events. Good use of graphics and creativity count, too.
If you're looking for ideas, you can link to some of the past winning sites by clicking on the "Cool Sites" logo found at apo.org (it's about halfway down on the right). Please keep in mind that there was a slightly different scale used in the past.
I know many of you work hard on your sites-I can't wait to see them. Good luck!
Warmest Regards,
Carla Moran
