...for Ms. Rebecca Wauthier, long-time advisor to the Alpha Alpha
chapter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for being
presented with a Chapter Advisor DSK tonight at AA's annual banquet!
For those of you who do not know her, Becky pledged very soon
after the National Fraternity allowed women to be full Brothers in 1976.
She has been with the chapter and the Fraternity ever since, serving in
various capacities on different levels (chapter, section, and region)
for many years, working with Membership Extension in Section 48, and
most recently as an advisor to the 1998 National Convention bid for
Chicago, and advisor to the 2001 Region VI Conference at the University
of Illinois. She has been previously honored as pledge class namesakes
at both Alpha Alpha chapter (University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign)
and Delta Psi chapter (Eastern Illinois University). She has been an
invaluable resource to the Fraternity and to her chapter, and I am more
than pleased to see her be recognized in this manner.
Professionally, Becky works with the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign as the Assistant Director of the UI-Integrate Project,
Student Systems Team, and has been with the University most of her
professional career.
