Just to send an update on the Frank Tour 2003! Frank the Friendship Frog
enjoyed a brief stay with Catholic University of America. The Brothers
of Zeta Mu Chapter enjoyed his company and gave him a nice "wcua" pin,
which I am assuming is from their campus radio station. He also received
a small pin from Howard University, which he proudly wears reminding him
of his visit with the Howard University PG. He then traveled down I-95
to Richmond, Virginia, where he is currently staying with the Brothers
of Omicron Phi Chapter at the University of Richmond, helping out with
the Teeter for Tots Service Project that is going on this week!
We've got a couple of photos of Frank with the Omicron Phi Chapter
tonight, as well as a few of Frank with Region III Director Jamie
Conover and her pet Koalas, not to mention Frank meeting Toucan Dan, the
traveling Toucan that is shared between Omicron Phi and nearby Alpha
Delta Iota Chapter at VCU. The photos should be online on Frank's
website in a day or so (I'd put them up today but it's after 12:30 and I
need to get up early tomorrow - or later today, whichever way you look
at it). Look for the photos online by this weekend,...
Frank also got a chance to meet some members of the Petitioning Group at
Virginia Union University, which is a very dynamic and outgoing group of
Petitioners! He can't wait until next year when he'll get a chance to go
to their chartering ceremony!
Get ready Section 80! Frank's a comin' your way for the Section 80
Conference at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC! I wonder which
chapter down there will get to visit with him?!?! Also, if you haven't
signed up for the Section 80 Conference, it's not too late. The
registration form is on the Region III Website:
