I called the hotel the other day, below is what I believe to be what they
explained to me.
They suggested that to make in a lot easier, that someone call in to the
hotel for each group and give them a list all the people that will be
staying in each room, and to designate who is the responsible party. For
example, let's say Wonder Woman makes a reservation for a room, and along
with her Aquaman, Batman and Superman will be staying in the room.
Superman is responsible for paying the bill with his credit card, not
Wonder Woman even though she is the one who made the reservation and the
room was reserved with her credit card. That way if Aquaman gets there
before Superman (as the superhero that is the responsible party) then he
can check in, and they won't ask him for his credit card because they know
that Superman will be paying for it. If Aquaman has to present his credit
card to get his key, they will put the room on his credit card instead.
Then when they are all ready to check out, they would charge Aquaman
instead of Superman.
Hope that makes sense! Call the main hotel line, NOT the 1-800 #, that is
a call center in another state. The Sheraton New Orleans number is (504)
525-2500, press option 0, and ask the operator to connect you to the Front
Desk.
