Hi there! Just a few comments about the support group :)
I know that I am not an African American, but I would still like to be a part
of the support group for my own educational purposes. Growing up where I
did, the opportunities to know anything about anyone "non white" were far and
few between. I would love to know the issues that need attention and how
best to deal with them, and even more than that, how to increase the
diversity in many of the groups I am in, not just APhiO. I dont know the
issues because I really havnt been exposed to the issues. Would it be ok for
myself and other brothers who have the desire to give additional support and
further their understanding to join this group?
Thank you for your consideration...I look forward to giving this group my
support in whatever capacity that may be.
