I picked up the lastest issue of _Student Leader_ Magazine (Fall 2002) on campus last night. _Student Leader_ is a free magazine distributed at a lot of college campuses. APO is mentioned twice in the magazine. Appropriate since the theme of this issue is Servce.
In an article on community service, the APO chapter at John Hopkins University was mentioned and they spent two paragraphs on them, and their former President, Chirag Patel is pictured.
In another article on superstars of service, they spent more time on Chirag Patel. They didn't mention APO other then to say he had received a John Mack Scholarship.
They had an article on Community Service organizations that spoke of groups like Best Buddies, AmeriCorps, America's Promise, Circle K, etc. Would have been nice to see us mentioned here.
Thought others might be interested in this. Student Leader magazine is the kind of magazine we should be trying to get articles about APO published.
