<DIV>In their continuing efforts to promote volunteerism among America's student population, the White House recent released a new report providing good resources on the growing trend of service-learning.&nbsp; The website itself, <A href="http://www.studentsinservicetoamerica.org">http://www.studentsinservicetoamerica.org</A>, is a very good resource, and it links to other websites that have additional information on this field.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>I bring this up as an FYI.&nbsp; It is critical that in our efforts to grow and expand our presence as a fraternity that we recognize and adapt to 1.) the need for recommitting ourselves to national and community service, and 2.) the realities of today's higher education system, the application of service-learning, and the role within for Alpha Phi Omega.</DIV>
