Brothers....
some messages have mentioned that if we pass certain legislation, the issue
on expulsion would be moot. i would just like to mention that the issue
would only be moot if no action is taken by spirts and standards at THIS
convention and only if the legislation proposed passes.
in other words, if sprits and standards suggests action at the convetnion in
new orleans, no legislation currently under consideration would be
applicable. legislation goes into effect at the end of convention.
therefore, this issue (if it is to be considered) would be considered
according to the current rules and bylaws. therefore the fact that
legislation has been proposed does not necessarily make the current debate
moot.
