Brothers,
The following is a written account of what has transpired in this travesty
involving Bro. Joel Bryant. Be advised that this document is approximately
17 pages long. I am sending it as an attachment. I have included unedited
copies of key correspondence related to his suspension so that you may become
more knowledgeable of this situation. The 12 documents are described as
follows:
#1. E-mail sent from Rashid Darden, Mu Alpha '99 on the APO
Listserve sending notice about the reactivation of Zeta Phi
Chapter.
#2. Bro. Joel Bryant, Omicron Upsilon '78 responds stating that he
was informed of the event by Keith Roots, National Alumni
Director and the he will be attend.
#3. Rashid respond via Email to Bro, Bryant
#4. Bro. Bryant extends Kudos via Email to Rashid for his efforts.
#5. Rashid thanks Bro. Bryant for attending and offers additional
comments and observations.
#6. E-mail sent by John Wetherington to Bro. Joel Bryant, Omicron
Upsilon '78 accusing him of Violating Fraternity policy.
#7. Bro. Joel Bryant's response.
#8. Bro. Joel Bryant reaches out to members of Alpha Phi Omega
(APO) whom he considered "friends".
#9. Bro. Joel Bryant reaches out to his A-Phi-Que Brothers,
particularly from Zeta Phi Chapter for support.
#10. Email sent to Bro. Joel Bryant officially notifying him of his
suspension.
#11. E-mail to the Men of the Rising Sun in support of Bro. Joel Bryant
from longtime soldier in the A-Phi-Que struggle, Bro. Zahmu
