Greetings!

Just a timely reminder, given the recent surge in postings...

Due to a recent trial change designed to further limit spam sent to APO-L
subscribers, all postings from new subscribers and those not subscribed
to the list are first routed to me for approval. This may delay your
postings to APO-L if you send them from an address that is not
subscribed. A change in the way your ISP reports your return address may
cause this as well. The main point to this policy is to eliminate spam
coming from people not subscribed to APO-L, and not to hinder your
ability to post to APO-L.

If you are reading APO-L from one e-mail address and sending posts from
another, I would suggest that you change your subscription address to
match the one that you post from. If you would prefer to not receive
mail from APO-L but still wish to post from time to time without your
message being held for review, please consider subscribing to APO-L and
setting your subscription options to NOMAIL.

You can review the APO-L listserv commands, such as SET, by sending the
message "HELP" to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.IUPUI.EDU. If you need help in doing
this, please feel free to contact me. All new subscribers are generally
approved for direct posting privileges shortly after subscribing.

Thanks for your help and understanding! If you just subscribed, welcome!

Fraternally,

Charlie Zimmerman
