While I'm not opposed to an increase in fees -
inflation has its toll everywhere, perhaps those
determining the legislation at convention should
remember that the actives are, though I'm sure they
won't forget since they are themselves, STUDENTS.
Students = poor! And though its been a few years
since I pledged, pledging was always the most
expensive semester at Alpha Beta ($90 total when I
pledged, more now). How does it seem feasible to ask
poor college students to cough up an extra $50 on top
of what they already can barely cover. Not everyone's
Mom & Dad help financially.
Just my thoughts.
Mo
ps. keep in mind, I haven't read the legislation yet.
