Randy,
Glad I can help with this....maybe. I'm the founder of Alpha Epsilon Mu at
Concordia University, Nebraska. Concordia is a
Lutheran-Church-Missouri-Synod sponsored school. It was kind of rough
getting it through the administration because "Alpha" "Phi" and "Omega" are
three greek letters - but now we're a thriving Region 8, Section 26 chapter.

In response to your query:
1. You do not need to be a Christian or Lutheran to go to CUNE.
2. Chapel is everyday from 9:20am to 10:00am - it is not required that you
attend but there are still no classes at this time.
3. Faculty members must be Lutheran-Mo-Synod to recieve tenure at the
University. I believe that it is also a hard and fast rule that you at
least must be at least Christian/Other Lutheran Denomination to be an
"on-contract" prof with the University.
4. The only Lutheran school that I know of that requires your home religious
leader to write a recommendation for you is both of our Seminaries,
Concordia Sem - St. Louis and Concordia Sem - Ft. Wayne, IN.

Hope this helped a bit.

In LFS,
Jay
