At the July 2002 APO Board meeting, I was elected Region I Director,
replacing Bill Reed who resigned in June.
Since this is an unofficial discussion list, I don't really think it
is appropriate for a board member to act as moderator -- even the
light moderation I do to keep everyone on topic.
Starting August 1, the list will have a new moderator -- Charlie
Zimmerman. Those of you who have been around awhile may know Brother
Zimmerman. He's a past Program Director (Membership and Extension) and
Regional Director (Region IX). He's been lurking on this list with
various levels of posting activity since its early days. His address

I will continue to deal with the technical administration of the list
-- dealing with subscription/unsubscription problems and accounts that
are bouncing messages.
