Wow! What a great weekend! The whole event in Fairfax this weekend was
totally awesome! The brothers in attendance really love me, too! They
had not one, but TWO birthday cakes there for me (all of us, really),
and they even sang happy birthday (MPEG video available at
http://www.apo83.org/frank/)!!
I really learned a lot at this new Leadership Institute that went on. I
went through an LDW (Leadership Development Workshop), a TDW (Team
Development Workshop), not to mention the All New LEADERSHIP 101
Workshop which is like totally awesome! When y'all plan your trip to New
Orleans this December, make sure you sign up for this workshop! You're
going to learn a heck of a lot in only 3 hours! Well worth the time!
Speaking of New Orleans, I really can't wait to see everyone down there
later this year! It's going to rock!
Anyway, I've decided this time around to spend a little more time with
the Epsilon Mu Chapter at University of Maryland. Being kidnapped and
all, I really didn't get the chance to spend a lot of time getting to
know the chapter (and you know I really want to get to know all of you
in Region III). That, plus I really want try and take some basketball
lessons with the basketball team here. They keep telling me that the UMD
basketball team is like really good or something,... So I guess I'll
have to find out! But I'll be back on the road come September, heading
out to meet some other chapter! That, and I look forward to seeing
everyone at the Region III NCPCs (National Convention Planning
Conferences), and then again in New Orleans (something about a convention?)!
Cheers!
In L,F,S,
Frank :-)
P.S. If anyone that attended the events in Fairfax this past weekend,
and took photos (particularly of me, but also of other things at the CPW
or LI), please send the photos to my webmaster (webmaster@apo83.org), so
that we can put them on my site! That would be great! Thanks!
