<P>Hello there all!</P>
<P>I hope everyone is having a great summer, resting up for the year to come! It looks like it is going to be a blast with Nationals and all the other events taking place.</P>
<P>Well, it's that time of year when paperwork needs to be taken care of (well, if you are a teacher getting ready for a new school year), so I thought I would let people know about the Section 48 Alumni Association.</P>
<P>This is a group for any alumni that have graduated from Section 48 schools or currently live in the area (most of Illinois). Anyone is welcome! We are just getting off the ground as far getting established so right now things are moving a bit slow:) In the future we would like to get service projects and social events up and running. Also another goal is to set up a network of alumni in the area to work with various chapters etc.</P>
<P>One other item - as Section 48 will be splitting soon, we are looking for suggestions for new names!</P>
<P>If you are interested or want more information, just drop me an e-mail. Please also e-mail your address and phone number if you plan on joining so we can update our records! There will be a minimum of e-mail!</P>
