I wrote a submission entitled "Robbing the Cradle..." about a year or so
ago, regarding advertising to high school students. I don't really see a
problem with spreading our message to soon-to-be-high school graduates.
Ideally, an assembly or through the guidance office... but I know many
people here who first saw interest in APO when they saw it's mention in the
boy scout manual, several years before attending college. Knowledge is
power- students still would need to decide on their own what they want to
do, but at least they are aware of APO and may be apt to give it another
serious look before deciding.
People just stepping foot on college campus as freshman may have not much
clearer of a path for them selves than as high school seniors, so what's the
difference?
