Hey Randy et. al.--
The APO website sure makes it look like the boundary between
sections 7 and 10 is just the Oregon/Washington border continued in a
straight line across Idaho to the Montana border. This is consistent with
keeping all the northern Idaho schools in the same section (Northern
Idaho, U. of Idaho, Lewis & Clark State, etc.) and with there being no
schools for the next two to three hundred miles south (until Boise). In
general, these schools are closer to Spokane and Missoula than Boise, so
it makes sense for them to be above the 7-10 split. :)
As Region XI chapters grow in number, I'm sure these boundaries
will be revised once again. After all, the section 7 chair could
potentially have to be in Glendive, MT one weekend and Pasco, WA the next.
That's nuts unless you have your own plane...especially in the mountainous
western half of the section. :)
