I'm not sure what type of "books" you are referring to, but here's a few
items that are passed along in my chapter:
+ The documents in the "Service Program" category
(http://www.apo.org/publications/documents/category.shtml) on apo.org.
+ Copies of all submissions to the national office regarding national
service day/week, etc.
+ Reports/summaries of each service project performed especially if
something went very well or very bad.
+ Service calendars for your term and earlier.
+ Binder containing the contact information of all organizations you work
with. My chapter consistently updates a binder of this sort, and I cannot
recommend it enough.

Dear Brothers:
I have a problem. I am the out going Service VP. The problem I have is
my books have not been updated except for the guide that nationals puts out.
Could any borthers please help me in guidence on how to update the SVP books
to give to the incomming SVP. Other than the 2000 SVP guide from nationals
is a quater service calander from 1998 and the forms that had to be
submitted during petitioning.
