I know that SUNY Oneonta's administration does not officially recognize
any of the socials on campus. From what I heard, it has to do with none
of them complying with the policy against pledging first semester
freshmen. Someone from Xi Rho can correct me, but I think this has only
been in effect for around 5 years. The socials are still underground on
campus, but APO is the only recognized fraternity in the eyes of the
administration.
