I know that Grad students can pledge (one of the members of my pledge
class was a grad student), but it is more difficult. Somewhat different
view of the world.
Having looked at the school organizations , all of the student
organizations are either limited to those in one school (nursing vs.
social work vs. dentistry) or ethnically/religiously based with the
exception of student government. I could easily see an extension effort
growing in just one school (say social work) and having a very difficult
time getting those in other schools.
I agree that not every campus is right for Alpha Phi Omega, but at over
5000 students, this one may be worth a try.
My section isn't bored right now in terms of extension, (we have an
interest group @ Howard University, a prospect @ Coppin State College and
a Target with an alumnus working in the student activities office at
Towson University), though so my section chair won't cry if I can't figure
it out...
