When I was at the National Office last summer for Sectional Resource
Weekend, I was looking at some of the old Convention photos and I saw
something that blew me away. Amid a group of almost entirely white
men there was one student who was clearly and without any doubt,
Asian. The photo was from a Convention in the 1930s. I don't
remember the exact date. If anyone wants to find it, it's in the
standing display upstairs.
At any rate, it just proves that we've always been ahead of our time. =)
