In this era of competition for any of the same "marketing words", be it
service, philanthropy, whatever, what can APO accomplish and be? I don't
know, that's up for the actives to decide... Alumni can set the stage, but
we're not responsible for the lines anymore. We're not the ones getting the
applause, much as my younger self craved the stage, and a part of me still
does. A better question an Alumnus/Alumna can ask, IMO, is what can we do to
help the undergrads accomplish what they want? What can we do to benefit
your decisions? I prefer to let legacies and Histories take care of
themselves.
