Hi!
I am currently organizing a Kiwanis Club in the Bala Cynwyd / City Line
area. Kiwanis is a non-profit organization for business men and women that
promotes community service and working with youth. In fact, Kiwanis Clubs
are very similar to APO chapters....they have leadership conventions, they
do hands-on community service, they encourage roadtripping and
"interclubbing".
What I am looking for is the names of any APO alumni that live or work in
the Philadelphia / Bala Cynwyd area that I might be able to send
information about Kiwanis and the new club that is forming. This new club
will be working heavily with the sponsored youth programs which includes
Key Club (high school) and Circle K (college).
We currently meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm and our next meeting will
be this Wednesday, August 16th at the Bala Cynwyd Library at North
Highland and Old Lancaster.
