Hello Fellow Brothers,
From the private response I've received so far, I just wanted to clarify a
couple of things in the hopes that it may answer the questions of others.
The Alma McLeod Foundation is always looking for help and for fundraising.
We do not solicit corporate moneys, nor do we receive Federal money. AMF
would love for any of your chapters to do a fundraiser at anytime. In fact,
wed love to have you turn an AMF fundraiser in to an annual event. As I
said in the previous message, your chapters could do other fundraisers
besides the Stay Awake, such as, penny drives, bowl-a-thons, bottle drives,
etc. Another idea is to incorporate other campus groups, organizations,
fraternities, or sororities. This could help in reaching a higher
fundraising goal, as there would be more people involved. The goal you set
is completely up to your chapter. Every dollar raised is a dollar toward
helping those in need.
If at any point your chapter would like to host a project, just contact the
main office of The Alma McLeod Foundation at 800-DIAL-LIF(E) or myself at
