Brothers,
It isn't often that we see Brothers complimenting the National Office =
here, but I wanted to publicly express my appreciation for their =
endeavor to allow members to submit legislative proposals =
electronically. As some of you know, there were some problems with =
several pieces of legislation be sent to the chapters before the last =
convention, and the Reference Committee on Rules & Credentials offered a =
resolution requiring the National Office to look into accepting =
proposals electronically and to confirm receipt of such proposals.
I just submitted a proposal last night via www.apo.org and got my =
confirmation this morning (and my proposal does nothing more than fix a =
conflict in the bylaws regarding Life Members, so it shouldn't be =
controversial.) :-)
I just wanted to say "thanks!" to Pat and the Gang at the National =
Office - good job!
