Couple of things...
1) It would be a by-law ammendment. The ammendment would go something
like. Ammendment to Article V, Section 2, second sentence. Add the phrase
"and a representative of the National Board of Directors of the Girl
Scouts of the United States of America". This would give a representative
of GSUSA a vote on the National Board the same way that BSA does.
2) Be *very* prepared for GSUSA headquarters to be *against* the idea. I
know that there have been efforts made by Alpha Phi Omega as an
organization to get better relations with GSUSA and that they have been
rebuffed. I don't know if any of them have included the idea of an equal
seat on the board with BSA, but it doesn't seem to me from what I've heard
like that would have made a difference.
