Brothers,
The issue regarding Alpha Phi Omega and its relationship with the Boy =
Scouts of America that is currently being discussed on APO-L and =
elsewhere is bound to elicit strong emotions. I don't send this message =
to advocate one position or another, nor do I really want to influence =
the debate. There are those who feel strongly on this issue and we know =
what these types of issues can do to the debate here.
With that in mind, I only ask that as we discuss this on APO-L, in our =
chapters, with our Brothers and staff, that we remember to:
1) Discuss things in a fraternal and brotherly manner
2) Keep the debate about the issue and not the persons or personalities =
involved
3) Focus on what is in the best interests of Alpha Phi Omega.
I'll apologize now if I seem a bit preachy; sometimes it's helpful to =
make a few suggestions before some discussions take place.
In Leadership, Friendship, and Service
